Jill Ben Cadi - Head of HR & Organizational Development
How long have you been working at Mäurer & Wirtz? And what do you particularly like about your job?
I have been at Mäurer & Wirtz since October 2015 responsible for personnel development, organisational development/change management and employer branding. This includes, for example, the design and further development of target group-specific development programmes, the management of cultural development processes and measures to promote our corporate image. I act as a sparring partner for company employees in exploring and implementing their development potential and opportunities, and conduct workshops on team development.
I studied Business Psychology and previously worked in the corporate sector as well as in management consulting. At Mäurer & Wirtz, as a medium-sized family-owned company, I have the opportunity to experience directly whether measures are taking effect and employees are making good progress. The proximity and the open exchange of ideas allow me to work very closely with the employees. I have a great passion for my job! I enjoy the broad spectrum of my work – the contact and exchange with all employees and managers, the conceptual work and the development of ideas, but also the implementation of hands-on measures.
What makes Mäurer & Wirtz special for you?
Overall, we have a great sense of cooperation and enormous willingness to help, including beyond our own departmental boundaries. Team spirit is very important here. You will always find support when you need help with an issue, which I find essential, especially with HR issues, because even the best concepts are doomed to fail if they do not enjoy the support of colleagues.
