I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since February 1997.
What are your activities?
My current job at Mäurer & Wirtz includes allocating employees, organising the shift sequence and logging the operating data in cosmetics.
What motivates you?
My motivators are my long-standing affiliation with the company, my colleagues and the good cooperation I have with them. People respect one another, trust one another and get through stressful times together. I enjoy my work.

How long have you been with Mäurer & Wirtz?
I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 2003.
What are your activities?
My job as a Machine Operator is to equip the machine, correct faults in the machine and monitor the quality of the products.
What is your greatest motivation and what makes Mäurer & Wirtz special for you?
My greatest motivation is to have a safe workplace and nice colleagues who value you. I think it's great that a core team has been formed and we can therefore get involved in the conversion work with the mechanics.
Nedime Ibraim, Machine Operator
How long have you been working at Mäurer & Wirtz and how did you come to Mäurer & Wirtz?
I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 1992. That's when I started working as a Packer at Mäurer & Wirtz, after having trained as a hairdresser.
What are your activities and what do you particularly like about your job?
I've now been working as a Machine Operator for over 20 years. I still enjoy my job to this day. In addition, for a number of years I have been part of the core team that supports the fitters when they carry out conversion work. I particularly like the fact that we understand each other very well within the group and support each other.
My tasks as a Machine Operator include, among other things, tightening the line at every start of an order, weighing the filled bottles and checking the finished goods every hour. Furthermore, it's important to ensure that various scent and reserve samples are taken and made available. If faults are indicated on the machine, it is also my task here to try to rectify them.
What makes Mäurer & Wirtz special for you?
I really admire the company, as it has been offering great products for generations. Being able to support the company in this is something I find very motivating.

How long have you been with Mäurer & Wirtz?
I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 2008.
What are your activities and what do you particularly like about your job?
My role as Shift Manager is to coordinate my shift and monitor the quality of our products. I think it's great that I have been enticed out of my comfort zone and that this has given me the opportunity to go from a temporary employment agency to being trained first as a Machine Operator and then Shift Manager.
What motivates you?
My biggest motivation for working at Mäurer & Wirtz is to have found a secure job and an employer that values its employees.
Julian Horsch, Head of Filling Department
What are your responsibilities at Mäurer & Wirtz?
My name is Julian Horsch and I started as a process engineer in the technology department after completing my bachelor's degree in 2015. I've been responsible for the filling department since May 2022 and manage around 120 employees in Filling. In our department, each of the unique fragrances are filled into flacons and carefully packaged.
My duties include implementing the production orders provided by supply chain management according to specifications, and scheduling workforce and machine utilisation. I also fulfil a bridging function between our technology department and our quality management.
What motivates you? What do you particularly enjoy?
I really love working at Mäurer & Wirtz because every day I meet many individual characters here who complement each other as a team. In my role as Head of Filling Department, I very much appreciate working with many different employees, as well as developing our department together. My greatest motivation is the continuous development of my employees. I sincerely believe that people and processes can always become that little bit better.

How long have you been with Mäurer & Wirtz?
I completed my training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant in January 2018 and have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since then.
What are your activities?
My role consists of developing and testing scents and functional products from the new fragrance series, as well as providing production support for these products. Another major area of responsibility is the project work involved in creating new fragrance series.
What makes Mäurer & Wirtz special for you?
The work at Mäurer & Wirtz is very varied and interesting. Every day is different and brings challenges that have to be overcome. Working with so many different fragrances is not only lovely for the nose, but also great fun. That's why I enjoy coming to work every day.
Tobias Peckeruhn, Production Planner
How long have you been working at Mäurer & Wirtz and how did you come to Mäurer & Wirtz?
I have been working in Supply Chain Management at Mäurer & Wirtz since July 2019. I plan the production of the product range at the Stolberg site. After training as an Industrial Business Manager and acquiring some professional experience, I joined Mäurer & Wirtz. Here I was also given the opportunity to study while I was working.
What do you particularly like about your job? And what makes Mäurer & Wirtz special for you?
My area of activity is characterised by a mixture of great agility, forward-looking actions and continuous improvement. This is rounded off by collaboration within the team. I am particularly motivated by visible results and a sense of fulfillment. For me, transparency and the sense of togetherness are key features of the Mäurer & Wirtz corporate culture.
