Sebahat Gündüz, Shift Manager

I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since February 1997.

My current job at Mäurer & Wirtz includes allocating employees, organising the shift sequence and logging the operating data in cosmetics.

My motivators are my long-standing affiliation with the company, my colleagues and the good cooperation I have with them. People respect one another, trust one another and get through stressful times together. I enjoy my work.

Francisca Lopez, Machine Operator

I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 2003. My job as a Machine Operator is to equip the machine, correct faults in the machine and monitor the quality of the products.

My greatest motivation is to have a safe workplace and nice colleagues who value you.

I think it's great that a core team has been formed and we can therefore get involved in the conversion work with the mechanics.

Nedime Ibraim, Machine Operator

I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 1992. That's when I started working as a Packer at Mäurer & Wirtz, after having trained as a hairdresser.

I've now been working as a Machine Operator for over 20 years. I still enjoy my job to this day. In addition, for a number of years I have been part of the core team that supports the fitters when they carry out conversion work. I particularly like the fact that we understand each other very well within the group and support each other.

My tasks as a Machine Operator include, among other things, tightening the line at every start of an order, weighing the filled bottles and checking the finished goods every hour. Furthermore, it's important to ensure that various scent and reserve samples are taken and made available. If faults are indicated on the machine, it is also my task here to try to rectify them.

I really admire the company, as it has been offering great products for generations. Being able to support the company in this is something I find very motivating.

Verena Schwandt, Shift Manager

I have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since 2008. My role as Shift Manager is to coordinate my shift and monitor the quality of our products.

My biggest motivation for working at Mäurer & Wirtz is to have found a secure job and an employer that values its employees.

I think it's great that I have been enticed out of my comfort zone and that this has given me the opportunity to go from a temporary employment agency to being trained first as a Machine Operator and then Shift Manager.

Aaron Giese, Chemical Laboratory Technician

"Working with so many different fragrances is not only lovely for the nose, but also great fun."

My role consists of developing and testing scents and functional products from the new fragrance series, as well as providing production support for these products. Another major area of responsibility is the project work involved in creating new fragrance series.

I completed my training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant in January 2018 and have been working at Mäurer & Wirtz since then."Working with so many different fragrances is not only lovely for the nose, but also great fun."

The work at Mäurer & Wirtz is very varied and interesting. Every day is different and brings challenges that have to be overcome. Working with so many different fragrances is not only lovely for the nose, but also great fun. That's why I enjoy coming to work every day.

Tobias Peckeruhn, Production Planner

I have been working in Supply Chain Management at Mäurer & Wirtz since July 2019. I plan the production of the product range at the Stolberg site.

After training as an Industrial Business Manager and acquiring some professional experience, I joined Mäurer & Wirtz. Here I was also given the opportunity to study while I was working.

My area of activity is characterised by a mixture of great agility, forward-looking actions and continuous improvement. This is rounded off by collaboration within the team.

I am particularly motivated by visible results and a sense of fulfillment.

For me, transparency and the sense of togetherness are key features of the Mäurer & Wirtz corporate culture.
